ADMINISTRATION

Principal

Mr. Daniel graduated from Hopewell High School in Hopewell, Virginia in 1987.  He attended Virginia Tech University on a football athletic scholarship. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing Education and in 1996 with a Master of Arts Degree in Student Personnel Services.  He received his endorsement in Educational Leadership and School Administration from George Mason University in 2002.

Mr. Daniel's educational experiences include teaching Marketing at the high school level, providing guidance and counseling services at the middle school level, and coaching football and basketball at both levels.  In 1999 he began his career in Stafford County at T. Benton Gayle Middle School as a counselor and coach.   He was an assistant principal at Rodney Thompson Middle School from 2002 to 2005 and Brooke Point High School from 2005 to January of 2008.  On January 30, 2008, he began his duties as Principal of H. H. Poole Middle School.  

Mr. Daniel is married with three children.  His family enjoys attending church, traveling, and watching the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Assistant Principal 

Mr. Robert Bingham was named Assistant Principal in October of 2003. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from James Madison University in 1993, where he majored in History and Education. Mr. Bingham began teaching 7^th grade History with Fairfax County Public Schools in 1994. While working in the county, Mr. Bingham earned his Masters Degree in Administration from George Mason University. He moved into a Middle School Assistant Principal’s position while in Fairfax County. After 10 years in Fairfax he moved to his current position here at H. H. Poole Middle School. Mr. Bingham is currently the Special Education Designee and the Administrator for 7^th Grade. Mr. Bingham is married and has two children who attend school in Stafford County. Mrs. Bingham is an elementary music teacher in the county.

Assistant Principal

A native New Yorker, Mrs. Raines hails from East Meadow, Long Island.  She holds her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Adelphi University, Masters' in Geosciences from Mississippi State, and Postgraduate Professional Certificate in Administration and Supervision K-12 from George Mason University. Prior to joining the staff at H.H. Poole, Mrs. Raines spent fourteen years teaching and coaching at North Stafford High School.  Currently, she is an Assistant Principal at H.H. Poole Middle School.

When not at school, Mrs. Raines enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children.  She loves the beach and baseball.  Let's go METS!
